What Things Can Stain Your Dental Bonding?

Dental Bonding Dental Implant Center at Walnut Creek CA 94596
When you get dental bonding, you need to make sure you do everything you can to keep them clean. After all, you should treat them as good as you treat your real teeth, right?

Although this is the case, the dental bonding does stain from the food and drinks you consume on a daily basis.

Because of this, you should avoid eating or drinking too many of the following. Also, if you need anything, be sure to contact us, and we will do what we can to help you.

Coffee and Tea

Although you might enjoy drinking coffee and tea, try not to drink too much of it, or they will stain your dentures. However, if you insist on drinking these beverages as much as you want to, clean them as good as you can every morning, and every night before going to bed. Since this is a dental bonding, they should be cared for like your real teeth.

Smoking Cigarettes

Do you smoke cigarettes regularly? If you do, you may end up staining them. Smoking can turn real teeth yellow and stain them so, of course, it is evident that they will do the same thing with your bonded teeth.

Try to cut back on the smoking. If you must have your nicotine, you can always try vaping. Vaping is an alternative to smoking, more affordable than cigarettes after the initial investment of the device and what goes with it, and is better for your health. Not only this, but vaping won't cause stains on your bonded teeth.

Trying these alternatives for coffee, tea, and smoking will help prevent stains on your dental bonds. Do not hesitate to contact us for anything you need, whether you have a question, or need help with something. We are here to help you any way we can!
