Dr. Jane Wang is a prosthodontist who puts her heart into every aspect of her work. She is passionate about prosthodontics and dedicated to providing the best solution for each patient, whether restoring function, enhancing esthetics, or both. Known for her calming presence and caring approach, Dr. Wang takes time to listen, helps patients with dental anxiety feel at ease, and treats everyone with the same compassion she would extend to her own family.
Her expertise includes veneers, crowns and bridges, composite bonding, Maryland bridges, full-arch implant bridges, implant overdentures, removable partial dentures, and complete dentures. She is committed to staying at the forefront of her specialty by keeping up to date with evolving dental technologies, advanced techniques, and the highest standards of care through continuing education.
Dr. Wang completed her Certificate in Prosthodontics at the University of California, San Francisco, where she served as Chief Resident and was recognized by the Pacific Coast Society for Prosthodontics for her research. She earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from Tufts University, where she received the Joseph E. Primack D’42 Endowed Prize in Prosthodontics, and also completed a Certificate in Advanced Education in General Dentistry at NYU Langone.
In addition to private practice, Dr. Wang is an Associate Clinical Professor at the University of the Pacific, Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry, where she mentors dental students in prosthodontics and implant dentistry. She is also committed to service, volunteering with programs that provide pro-bono dental care to veterans and elderly patients. Beyond dentistry, she supports her community through volunteer work with Contra Costa Animal Services. Her research on optical coherence tomography and fluoride’s effect on root caries has been published in Diagnostics, and she contributes as a writer for Elsevier’s PracticeUpdate.
Dr. Wang is actively involved in professional organizations, serving as a board member and secretary for the Pacific Coast Society for Prosthodontics Foundation. She has also served on the San Francisco Dental Society’s Board of Directors and Professional Development Committee, and maintains memberships in the Pacific Coast Society for Prosthodontics, American College of Prosthodontists, California Dental Association, and American Dental Association.
Outside of dentistry, Dr. Wang enjoys hiking with her partner and has a personal goal of visiting every U.S. National Park. |
